The Alliance of Portland Neighborhood Business Associations (APNBA) is a non profit corporation created in 1985 to serve the businesses district associations (BDAs) that have formed along the main streets, in the town centers and the industrial districts that surround Portland’s urban downtown. The APNBA’s members are the business districts. The APNBA supports its member business district associations by providing the tools they need to promote their districts and to support the businesses within them.
The APNBA is the only organization specifically serving Portland’s business and commercial districts. The APNBA works to stimulate the economy and assist the small businesses throughout Portland by providing counseling, training, research, advocacy, and other resources and activities as needed by individual BDAs.
